Here are some never before seen pics from London. Guess what I got (early Christmas present)? I might show it in a later post but I'm not really sure... You'll se if you stay tuned. The pics are taken outside of Brown's Hotel in London where I've been wanting to have high tea (and champagne) for a pretty long time but I think it might be a "special occasion" thing, so I'm going to wait a while for that. Perhaps when my boyfriend graduates... For outfit deets, please see below.
Here's a cute little powder pink thing that I completely forgot to show you. I bought this the last day of my trip to Côte d'Azur (a while ago) when my boyfriend drove me to Nice for some last day shopping before boarding my flight back home to Copenhagen. I've had my eyes on this cute little bag for a while and was pretty thrilled to find it on sale in Galeries Lafayette. Love Galeries Lafayette! Anyway, I used it a lot during the rest of the summer, particularly in Mallorca. It's an ideal bag for strolling around Palma and going for dinners because it's small and handy and goes very nicely with my summer wardrobe colour wise.
Hey lovelies! It's Monday again but I've only been to school for two hours... Feels very luxurious! I just got home from some furniture scouting with my Grandmother but we didn't really find anything particularly tempting. It's a little difficult focusing on studying when I know that there's lots of furniture shopping waiting around the corner so I'd actually rather scroll through some tumblers and buy interior decoration magazines... Anyway, I'm going to pull myself together and read some neuroanatomy because it is endlessly fascinating after all.
Here's a picture of the lunch Mum and I had yesterday at Vera's in Råå. We always order the same food when we're there... Today I slept in, had breakfast in bed and I got an advent gift that was really cute. It has been such a good morning. Plans for today are going down to the city where they have some Christmas stuff going on in all the stores, reading some neuroanatomy and then I'm taking a bath with some Lush and Decléor products. This week is going to be really exciting because I'm getting the keys to my new apartment on Wednesday!
P.S. Please scroll down! I've updated the blog with lots of pics from England and there are even more coming up!
I just had some tea with my sweet BFF and I haven't seen her for what feels like forever, so that was really nice. Earlier today I had lunch with my Mum at Vera's in Råå and then I got a facial. I also got my eyebrows and lashes dyed darker and now I'm feeling really fresh faced. I love that post spa feeling! Tonight I'm just going to relax and watch some television because I've been working the last couple of days so I'm a little sleepy... Wearing my beloved Kenzo tiger sweatshirt and Jane Kønig necklace.
I bought this fabulous and classic design item today! The Bat or Butterfly Chair. I've finally gotten an apartment so I guess you can prepare for some more interior posts coming up... Anyway, I've loved this chair for a pretty long time and it was originally designed in Argentina 1938 and it's no longer produced by the original manufacturers. But I got this one from the Swedish brand Cuero in the colour Polo and I really look forward to decorating my new apartment with it. So classy and Scandi.
Today I'm starting a new course at the University; the central nervous system. I'm actually excited about that because I find the brain really intriguing. This selfie is from my boyfriend's room, he has the best selfie lightning and I'm pretty sure he isn't even aware of it. Wearing jewellery from Carré and Jane Kønig.
I've flown back to Copenhagen today. I'm going to the third semester party at my University, which probably will be fun. I'm meeting up with my class and getting some pizza prior to the party. Here are some pics from Queen's College yesterday and some prettier pics of my new black cashmere poncho, which is the comfiest piece of clothing ever.
I'm travelling home tomorrow for the third semester exam party but right now I'd like to stay a bit longer in Oxford. My boyfriend and I took a walk to the city centre to get some breakfast and do the last shopping. Then we walked back to his college through the Christ Church Meadows and later we're going to watch "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them", which I really look forward to.
Some pics from The Ivy Chelsea Garden where we had dinner last night. It was really beautiful and very Christmas decorated outside. It had a real orangerie vibe to it, which I really like. I had seared tuna steaks with my fave salad ingredients and as a side I had to order parmesan truffle fries... Made me miss Dean & Deluca. I had a cocktail called a King's Road Cobbler that was really good and served Moscow Mule style. And for dessert, my boyfriend and I shared a lemon Baked Alaska which was heavenly. I'm wearing a new black cashmere poncho that I will show you more pics of later. Yesterday really was the best day!
Here are the Christmas decorations on Regent Street. We've had such a wonderful day of shopping and now we're headed to Ivy Chelsea Garden for some dinner (more about that in a later post). I couldn't get ahold of a Moncler jacket that I really wanted to buy but otherwise the shopping day has been quite successful. I got a stunning Christmas present from my boyfriend that I'll perhaps show you later (not on) and I bought gifts for my family and also some stuff for myself like a pyjamas, sweatpants and some Lush stuff.
And we're off to London! We're currently on the bus that will take us to Marble Arch and fabulous London. We got breakfast from Pret and I got another Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks. A Starbucks latte a day keeps the doctor away... I'm wearing my new over the top gorgeous Burberry Paddington coat! I love it and it goes nicely with my red Burberry scarf. Tonight we're having dinner at The Ivy Chelsea Garden but before that we're going Christmas shopping!
I've been to Bicester Village all day and done lots of shopping. Luckily, my boyfriend joined me when he was done with his lessons (I needed some help with carrying all the stuff). I got lots of cotton candy coloured towels in Ralph Lauren home and I also got the Burberry Paddington coat of my dreams! I hope I can show it to you soon, perhaps tomorrow when we're going to London! It has been such a wonderful day and now we're heading back to the college to have dinner and champagne.
Good morning from Oxford! Today I slept in, which is such a luxury because I haven't done that in forever... I woke up to this view and now I'm getting ready to go out. I'm getting a Toffee Nut Latte in Starbucks and some breakfast from Pret and then I'm off to Bicester to go shopping! Another activity I haven't done in the past few months...
And I'm done! My exam is finally over! I'm home again and Mum spoiled me with champagne and some luxury take away - antipasti and an open-faced shrimp sandwich. I'm off to London tomorrow but I've already packed mentally so now I'm going to take a bath and pamper myself a bit. I really look forward to seeing my boyfriend again tomorrow! And I'm sorry for not blogging a lot but I've been studying from early morning to late night every day the last month or so. So I haven't exactly been focusing a lot on creating outfits, taking tons of pictures of coffee dates and stuff because I haven't really done anything particular lately.
I'm still coughing so while I was home I tried my orange Lush bath bomb and I really smelled like orange blossoms afterwards. And I've gotten some new Decléor products that I'm going to try to spoil myself with during these rather rough studying days.
