I'm having a really good time at the Danish Riviera. Went to Gilleleje today for some shopping (I only bought some vitamins though) and lunch. I've been tanning all afternoon and now I'm sipping white wine and waiting for dinner; bouillabaisse. Soon I'll go and get ready for Musik I Lejet, a music festival that my sister and I are attending later this evening.

I'm currently at my grandparents' place. I'll enjoy the lovely weather and their company during the day and go to a festival in the evenings. Best combination ever. These pictures are kind of creepy but cool.

yves saint laurent update

I got these pieces in Yves Saint Laurent in NK, Stockholm. A very nice makeup update. Maybe these are a bit too dark and vampy for late summer but they are perfect for autumn and winter. I can't wait until I can wear them! The lipstick is Rouge Volupté Shine 3 Violet Incognito, the nail polish is 128 Black Indigo and the eyeshadow palette will be displayed in another post. Stay tuned!

stockholm & stuff

We had pizza by the water, wandered around Stockholm and had belgian waffles saturday evening. A very nice evening indeed. Now we're at home.

Started the day with a panini and a couple of latte macchiatos in the old city. Then we did some shopping... I'll show you later!

I joined my family in Stockholm for some shopping after Rays. I slept a bit in the afternoon and when I woke up I didn't know if it was evening or morning, I was really tired. It was evening and we went out to eat which was very nice and cozy.

We went to Ulvhälls Herrgård in the evening to eat dinner. Afterwards we officially became xRays. I did not sleep at all that night, I was too busy writing in everybody's summer books!

final presentation

After four weeks of hard work and fun we had our final presentations at Tekniska Museet (Museum of Technology) in Stockholm. All of them went extremely well and I really enjoyed listening to it all. Here I am at the end of my presentation.

rays paper due tomorrow

The Rays Paper is due tomorrow and I'm kind of anxious. People are currently correcting my paper so I'll probably stay up late and look it through over and over again...

I've had the best week at the Department of Clinical Microbiology at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm. If you want to experience real researching (and missing it a lot when it's over), you should apply to Rays next year! Thanks for having me!

I've had an exquisite day! The experiments went great, our counsellors came and visited us, which was fun. Other than that I've just been working on my report and listening to a lecture about paradoxes. Sort of tired at the moment so I might go to bed early. Please note that I didn't drink the dry ice...
