And I'm back in Copenhagen again. Actually, I have been since yesterday because my Mum and I went to my aunt's birthday celebration here in Copenhagen. My Mum left earlier today and today is one of those days when I miss her a lot... Anyway, I've been to the gym today and I've studied. I also just pampered myself a bit with exfoliating, doing a facial mask and dyed my eyebrows. Now, I'm really sleepy but I've got to do a bit more of studying and then we'll see what I'll feel like doing.

P.S. Did you notice that I changed my wine bottles for Moët & Chandon Nectar and Ice Imperial? They are really decorative!

red ranunculus

I remembered that I forgot to post these gorgeous little red ranunculus that I bought. Actually, the Lyngby vase is new too and I adore the transparent pink colour. Currently waiting for peony season even though I have a lot less fresh flowers now that I've gotten my beloved lemon and olive trees transported to my apartment.

mediterranean vibes

I've finally gotten some plants in my apartment! It has been pretty "dead" so far with only freshly cut flowers (they are lovely too though). I got the two lemon trees a long time ago but they've been at my house in Sweden and I recently bought a pair of olive trees. I love the Mediterranean vibes of these trees and they are in the most perfect pale terracotta pots. So pretty! Now I just have to get a Monstera - I already got a huge pot for it. So if you have any ideas of where to get a Monstera, I'd be really happy to know because the two places I know are all out. Today is a pretty chill day, I'm going to study some Biochemistry, go to the gym and perhaps go to Magasin to have a look. And then I'm planning on Skype watching The Killing with my boyfriend tonight.

dining space

I bought these ranunculus a while ago but they still look really cute (I think I got them like 14 days ago!?). This is a little corner of my apartment - the dining space. I bought the Kartell Louis Ghost Chairs designed by Phillippe Starck and the Bourgie Table lamp and I'm so happy for both. I've been wanting them like forever! I got the over the top gorgeous mahogany table from my Grandparents and I love the mix of antique mahogany and quite modern Louis XV style plexiglass chairs. And I added the sheepskin to make it all a little bit more Scandi. Now I just need to try and get a glass plate for the table made, so I need to man up and call somebody who might be able to do that... Today we haven't really been up to that much; we've studied, went for a long walk in the sunshine, went to the gym, had dinner and I just tried out my Dior Hydra Life products after the shower! They were so comfortable, luxe and my skin looks really pretty now.

pink normann copenhagen

If you haven't been to the Normann flagship on Østerbrogade in Copenhagen, I definitely recommend it! It's such a cute/industrial little universe (with really good photo ops because of all the different rooms and wall textures). They sell lots of pretty things too - like these cool pink velvet chairs, red throw and a cognac coloured office chair. I went there this weekend when I also got myself a clear pink Lyngby vase (a Danish classic), but not in that store though. Now I'm heading home from school, baking some seed crisp bread and having dinner.

We went to the Danish Museum of Art & Design this morning. The museum is really nice and the chair hallway was completely empty today (last time there was this whole tour in there so it was super crowded).  I think my absolute favourite Danish designer chair is the seven chair. So pretty - particularly luxurious in leather. My boyfriend and I are just chilling this weekend and we're collecting some IKEA furniture, going grocery shopping and going to get him a gym membership.

corners

Here are some pretty little corners in my apartment. These cute little Kähler vases are perfect for small spring flowers such as these Snow Drops (in Swedish). And the big white Amaryllis are the flowers I got the other day. I thought Amaryllis were only sold around Christmas? Anyway, today I've had the day off but I went to a meeting in the morning and later I have some extra Biochemistry lectures.

kartell delivery

Hi lovelies! So much have been going on the past few days but here's a delivery I got Thursday. It's all the Kartell stuff I ordered! It's the Louis Ghost chairs that I've been wanting forever and the Bourgie lamp. Everything in transparent. I am so in love with everything and my living room is absolutely stunning (if I may say so myself). I'll show you pics of it sometime - I just have to order a glass plate to cover the mahogany table... Interior decoration is not yet complete. Anyway, I hope you've had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I went to the Danish Design Museum with my Mum, had dinner and coffee and now I'm blogging and then I'm watching a TV series in my bed before going to sleep. I also just opened a Summerbird Valentine's Edition box with white chocolate shells filled with liquid caramel and rolled in strong liquorice powder. So delicious - too bad I have to watch my blood pressure!

smeg & moët

I'm finally able to cool my champagne in style! I finally got my fridge last night and I really adore it! It's super pretty, pink and girly! I went grocery shopping today and now it's almost full... So happy for it! Now I'm almost set decoration-wise! I'm still waiting for my chairs and a lamp and then I need to transport some tables for the kitchen to Copenhagen too. Well, well, these things take time. And yes, I got the rosé Moët & Chandon champagne for the photo op and because that's one of the things I'll always have in the fridge along with milk and fresh fruit.

bat chair

I finally got my Bat or Butterfly Chair! It's made by the Swedish brand Cuero and is one of the best reproductions of the original Bat Chair that unfortunately is no longer produced. I got in in a cognac colour called "Polo" and I'm really happy for it. The leather is so beautiful! This pic is from the entrance in my apartment, by the way - your first little sneak peak! I'll show you more of it when everything is done. I still have to go and buy some chairs and I've actually already made a deal with the brand... It's fun to show you my interior decorating skills! Stay tuned for more this month but now I'm going to go back to studying and tonight we're getting Gasoline burgers! They are on the top 30 list of best burgers in the world!

christmas amaryllis

Here's another pretty flower in our house that we got from my Mum's friend who has a gorgeous garden boutique. I don't think I've ever seen an Amaryllis this red before, pretty impressed that my camera was able to take the pic.

white lilies & orchids

We went to my Grandparents' place today to have Christmas lunch and give each other presents, which was lovely. I got a pink Smeg water kettle and a tall white Peugeot salt grinder - both things have been on my wish list and I'm really happy for them! After being at their place for most of the afternoon, we drove to my apartment to install my butterfly chair (which proved to be quite difficult) and then we drove back home again. I'm pretty sleepy after driving back and forth, so now I'm going to take a shower and go to bed. We found some pretty white orchids on the way back home. I got two and I'm think I'll put them in my bedroom windows (I have three so the Kartell lamp will fit perfectly in the middle window...). Here's a little assembly of white lamps and flowers (lilies and orchids) in our bay windows at home. I really like the white Christmas star.

dior & roses

 I've been utterly efficient today too! Lots of practical stuff has to be fixed before I can move into my new apartment but I promise that I won't bore you all with the details. I ordered some beauty stuff too - nothing too fun just the basics. I got some more eyebrow dye, Burt's Bees lip balms and some eye cream. I love it when it feels like I've had a really efficient day! I've been missing London pretty much today actually. I'm British by heart but I would have loved to walk around and discover the pretty city even more. And I miss shopping too...

bat chair

I bought this fabulous and classic design item today! The Bat or Butterfly Chair. I've finally gotten an apartment so I guess you can prepare for some more interior posts coming up... Anyway, I've loved this chair for a pretty long time and it was originally designed in Argentina 1938 and it's no longer produced by the original manufacturers. But I got this one from the Swedish brand Cuero in the colour Polo and I really look forward to decorating my new apartment with it. So classy and Scandi.

40 red roses

I love being spoiled and these 40 red roses are just so over the top gorgeous! I even had to go to IKEA to get a new vase but since it's the second time I receive these long stemmed roses I figured that it would be worth investing in a nice vase too. I'm going to Copenhagen tonight and then a new week of school is starting and I'm doing some fun activities next week too. I'm pretty excited about the new week coming up!

from home to bangkok

Today we're leaving for Bangkok! Home-Copenhagen-Bangkok. I really can't wait until we arrive because the prospect of sitting for 10 hours straight in an airplane is sort of well, boring. Just a picture from my house. I bought pink peonies before leaving and I just can't get over their beauty.

corona dreams

I went to work from 07:00-15:00 today and then I went back home, relaxed and studied. My sister and I are staying in Copenhagen this week until my exam on Friday. Just two more to go before I'm free for the summer! I was just looking through some old drafts and found this one. I really love the Corona chairs but they are pretty ugly from behind. I'm kind of obsessed with the red one.

grand hotel lund & prom prepping

Just checked in at Grand Hotel in Lund where I'm going to stay with my little sister. It's her prom tonight and I just couldn't miss out on a little everyday luxury. Soon off to take pictures of her and her friends and then I'll have dinner somewhere with my Mum. Right now we're fixing some minor details regarding my sister's look and we're also having some celebratory champagne!

pretty gift

My sweet sister is coming home from Bangkok today! This is a present Mum and I got her in Copenhagen last week. I'm in Copenhagen now too but I'll see my sister Tuesday evening. I couldn't resist posting these pictures, though. How cute is the packaging?

pink tulips

Good morning! I just had to take a picture of these crisp and pretty pink Tulips in our living room. Since I'm studying most of the day, it's rather difficult to take outfit pics (I have a tendency to dress in cozy clothes and no jewellery when studying). Hopefully I'll take some outfit pictures later this week.
