strandvägen 1

Image 15Image 1Image 17ImageImage 14Image 18
Who's making me this breakfast? We slept in today and until now I have been cleaning and fixing lots of stuff while my boyfriend has been doing some physics. I'm currently baking and then I'm getting dressed to go for a walk, get some groceries (I need to empty a store for canned Ice Tea) and enjoy the lovely weather outside. The windows are open wide and I'm still kind of warm... Anyway, tonight we're going to make some dinner and maybe go out for a cocktail or two. These pictures are also from Stockholm, from Strandvägen 1, where my Mum and I had brunch on our last day. It was so delicious and surprisingly inexpensive too. I really love that you're just a road away from the harbour and we were able to sit outside, which is so nicely decorated and cozy. We both ordered freshly squeezed orange juices (so good!) and latte macchiatos. My Mum ordered a fancy sandwich and I had mini scones and fresh berries. The mini scones with lemon curd were delicious so I'm making that for my housewarming tomorrow. Stay tuned because pics of all my baked goods are coming up! By the way, I'm wearing my beloved Kenzo sweatshirt and Dior sunglasses in the pictures above.

rosendal garden café

Image 1ImageImage 2Image 4IMG_5745
Here are some pics from our wonderful and sunny trip to Stockholm a couple of weeks ago. If you're in Stockholm I really recommend going to Rosendal Gardens and their lovely café. They have lunch and all sorts of delicious cakes, we chose a cardamom bun, "hallongrotta" and a piece of carrot cake (not as good as Fotografiska's though). They were all good and the setting is so beautiful! You sit in white green houses surrounded by lots and lots of beautiful plants. Anyway, today has been a crazy busy day and I'm picking up my boyfriend from the airport soon!

stockholm vibes

Image 7Image 9 copyImage 7 copy
We're on our way to Copenhagen so I thought I'd just share these snapshots from Stockholm. Stockholm is a really beautiful city and architecture-wise I think it has a slight resemblance to Paris. The weather was delightful during our stay, which of course added to the summery feeling (definitely visit Stockholm in the summer unless you really want to freeze). Do you guys know that I could have chosen to study in Stockholm? It's a beautiful city but it's rather far from my hometown, so I'm very happy with my choice.

baby blue & cinnamon bun

Image 5
It's actually such a shame that I didn't take any pictures today (picture proof?) because the weather has been amazing! I could actually tan in a bikini for some hours in the middle of the day! We've been pretty unfortunate with the weather this spring so far so today was pretty major! Anyway, I've been doing all sorts of practical things with my Mac and my iPhone (trying to clear up some space), tanning and going for a long walk. My Mum and I even grilled Norwegian lobster and asparagus for dinner. First time barbecuing  this year! Now we're going to watch some Dexter and then I'm off to bed. Oh, and this picture is from our trip home from Stockholm. I travelled in a new sweat two piece from Brandy Melville in the cutest baby blue colour (perfect flight outfit - am I right?) and of course accompanied by a humongous cinnamon bun from Saturnus, which is a pretty famous café in Stockholm.

fotografiska café

Image 5Image 6
Another post from Stockholm. I've mentioned that Fotografiska is my favourite museum and naturally, the café has affected that decision... They have such a variety of different delicious foods and my Mum and I had such a hard time choosing what to get! We ended up with sharing a shrimp salad and a huge piece of carrot cake. The view over Stockholm harbour from the café is splendid and the interior is minimalistic and dark except for the art hanging on the walls. I love these two pictures. I adore the colours in the second ones and pictures of lips are almost always beautiful somehow. The other photography is pretty too and I love the mod eye makeup.

pretty in pink at rosendal

IMG_5754IMG_5833IMG_5766IMG_5802IMG_5807Here are the outfit pictures from last Sunday when we visited Rosendals Gardens & Café. I wore a perfect spring outfit consisting of only pink. I really adore the Joseph pants, they are comfy and elegant at the same time. And it's the first time I'm wearing my new Club Collection top. I just had to get it when I saw it, so I called the staff and asked them to tell me when they had it in store. I love cashmere tees and particularly such cute peplum tops. I'm pretty amazed that it's possible to make a peplum top of 100% cashmere. Please see below for details. I'm pretty sleepy today because I went from my real home directly to school, which was a pretty stressful trip (as always), which is why I'm not writing more...

Outfit:
Sunglasses: Dior.
Earrings: Carré.
Necklace: Syster P.
Top: Club Collection.
Faux Fur Coat: Ilse Jacobsen.
Pants: Joseph.
Sneakers: New Balance.

travelling tones

Image 9
We are travelling back home tonight! It's actually pretty nice with an extra day in Stockholm. We started it by going for a long walk (actually in search of my leather mittens that I somehow managed to loose yesterday and I've been obsessing over them ever since). We went to have breakfast at Strandvägen 1, which is the most wonderful place. It was really sunny so we could sit outside and I even had to take my coat off! I got such fabulous mini scones and everything else was perfect too. Afterwards, we went to one of the stores that we visited yesterday and I am now reunited with my beloved mittens! Then we packed our bags and went for a swim before heading to "Östermalms Saluhall" for a delicious lunch. Then we dropped by Saturnus for a cinnamon bun and enjoyed some ice cream down at Nybrokaj. It's been such an incredible trip to Stockholm and I have tons of more pictures to post so stay tuned!

pom & flora

IMG_9768Image 1Image 2
We had lunch at the famous Pom & Flora today and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The menu is extensive and interesting. They basically serve all kinds of healthy meals at a very reasonable price. The staff was super friendly and the interior was lovely too. I ordered a ricotta bowl with lemon curd, lavender honey, sesame, dried apricots and pollen and it was so delicious! My Mum went bananas (literally) and ordered a banana bread and a so called banana split that was basically bananas with whipped Greek yoghurt and coconut flakes. It was delicious too but perhaps a little too much banana for my taste (I can handle about 1-2 bananas per year). We had pink lemonade with ginger too and latte macchiatos too of course. The ginger lemonade was super delicious. Afterwards, we went for a walk and went back to the hotel to go for an afternoon swim. The weather is still amazing here. By the way, I'm wearing an off the shoulder top that my sweet little sister got me from Bangkok and I love it! Thanks!

walpurgis night in stockholm

Image 11Image 10
We've been quite lucky with our trip to Stockholm because it coincides with the King's birthday and Walpurgis night. Tonight is Walpurgis night and we went down to the old city centre to see the bonfire and feel some Walpurgis night vibes. Afterwards, we went to the skybar of our hotel to have cocktails. I had this huge one with raspberry and vodka that was really good. We've been out and about today. We started with going to the King's birthday, which was actually pretty fun to see. Then we went to Rosendals Gardens to have some cakes and take a walk in the beautiful surroundings. Pictures are coming up of that in the following week I hope! It has been a pretty fairytale Sunday. I'm happy that we also have tomorrow in Stockholm because we're having such a good time! Love travelling with my Mum (we're just missing my little sister!)!

sthlm brunch club

Image 3Image 6Image 4
And we're finally here! I'm on a weekend trip with my Mum, we're in Stockholm and the sun is shining. We went by train early this morning so we were pretty hungry when we arrived (even though we had some breakfast on the train because we travelled first class - so spacious) so we went to STHLM Brunch Club because I've heard that it's impossible to get a table without queuing on weekends (throwback to Granger & Co. in London)... And it's a national holiday in Sweden this weekend, which means that there will probably be lots of people enjoying life and the sun. It's lovely weather here and I'm so happy it finally feels like spring! Anyway, we had delicious food at STHLM Brunch Club. I chose the club sandwich (very appropriate) and it was untraditional but super good! Perfect lunch choice! I also had a berry smoothie and my Mum had a frozen acai bowl that was super good too. Then we went out and about in Stockholm and I did some shopping already. I've also had a closer look at a dress that I've been looking at for some time now...

london shopping spots

IMG_5027IMG_5022IMG_5025
Some of my fave places in London! For obvious reasons... These are the shopping places one cannot miss on a shopping spree in London - Harrods, Bond Street and Selfridges/Oxford Street! Regent Street used to be my favourite because Hamley's is located there and it's still gorgeous but I usually don't visit any stores there. I'm currently packing a really big suitcase because I'm going back to my place in Copenhagen tomorrow. I'm quite excited because I haven't spent too much time there after all the travelling, Christmas and studying... Anyway, I have some pretty nice things to pack for. Tomorrow I'm travelling, getting a mini facial at Natura Siberica, running some secret errands and then I'm picking my love up at the airport. Can't wait for him to arrive! We haven't made any plans on Sunday, really. I think we're just going to relax and perhaps have brunch somewhere, go for a walk, make dinner and have a chill and cozy night in. On Monday, I'm starting school again, I look forward to seeing my friends and afterwards I'm going fridge and stove (and microwave!) shopping with my Grandparents and boyfriend and then we're having dinner at their place. I have Tuesday off and my boyfriend and I have been together for three years then so we have some pretty exciting things planned for that! Now I have to get back to outfit coordinating!

pink velvet & white townhouses

IMG_5019IMG_5020Morning! I woke up not long ago and just had breakfast with my Mum and started cleaning a bit. My room is pretty messy after studying the first ten days of 2017, packing for 10 days in England and then arriving home with lots of stuff... Yesterday my Mum and sister picked me up at the airport and then we went back home to my place to fix a few things (also managed to do some shopping in between) and then we had dinner and went all the way back to Sweden so we got home quite late. I don't really have any plans for today except cleaning a bit, fixing some practical things and going for a long walk in the icy weather. I'm missing UK a little bit, love these gorgeous white Kensington townhouses. The picture is from when my boyfriend and I went (future) apartment scouting in the area. What a dream to live in London! But I'm very happy with living in Copenhagen too.

lipstick stained latte

IMG_4815
I'm currently sitting at Pret A Manger in Luton airport, waiting for my flight back home to Copenhagen. My Mum and sister are picking me up at the airport and I really look forward to seeing them! I've missed them while I was away. I have the rest of the week off from school, which is really nice so I am planning on buying a fridge and a stove, planning lots of outfits, going for lots of long walks, hopefully see some friends and fixing some practical stuff before I move into my new apartment for real! Oxford and London have been good to me! The pink velvet skirt is from Missguided and the cashmere cardigan is from Club Collection.

balliol college dinner with friends

image1
Today was my last day in Oxford and it went by really quickly! I woke up late and then I went to get my observer contract for the hospital internship in a place in the middle of nowhere. Then I had lunch with my boyfriend at the college, then I did some last minute shopping in Oxford, had coffee at Starbucks with my love and then we went back to the college to play some pool before meeting some Swedish friends for dinner at Balliol College. The dining rooms are just magical here. Afterwards we had a beer in the beer cellar and now we're home and I just finished packing and prepping for bed. Goodnight!

mcqueen in london

IMG_5026Here's a pic of me when we left the hotel and walked through Kensington on our way to Harrods (carrying yesterdays shopping from Victoria's Secret, Dover Street Market and Burberry). I'm wearing an Alexander McQueen dress that I use way too seldom! I just had a Pret A Manger club sandwich and ginger beer for dinner and now I'm watching a series before having a shower and going to bed. Tomorrow is my last day in Oxford so I look forward to enjoying every last bit of it!

off to a weekend in london

FullSizeRender
Hey pretty people! My boyfriend and I are heading to London this weekend! I'm hoping we can find a hotel so we can have part of the Sunday in London too. Plans for today are shopping: Selfridges, Brandy Melville, Burberry Beauty in Covent Garden, Dover Street Market, Rag & Bone, Victoria's Secret etc. I'm hoping I can find a pair of classic blue jeans from Rag & Bone and a yellow striped Commes des Garcons shirt. And tonight we're probably having some lobster and cocktails somewhere. And perhaps a beer in a traditional pub afterwards. Stay tuned for my weekend adventure! Now we're off to get a baguette from Pret A Manger and a toffee nut latte from Starbucks.

black flare pants outfit

Image 4Image 5Image 3Today was the last day in the hospital, which was actually really sad! Particularly because the first three years at Medicine at the University of Copenhagen are purely academic. It'll be a really long time until I spend some time in neurosurgery theatres again... After work, I met up with my boyfriend, got changed and then we went to the Museum of Science here in Oxford and then we walked around in old bookshops and beautiful college gardens and then we had coffee at Starbucks before heading home. We're going to play a game with some of my boyfriends friends and then we're going to a party down in the beer cellar with all of them afterwards. I think it's going to be lots of fun! What do you think about my new flare pants? I've been wanting a pair ever since Zara produced grey ones but they were too big for me even in the smallest size. I found these in Ho Chi Minh and haven't worn them since I got them. For more outfit details, see below... Lipstick is YSL.

toffee nut life

IMG_4520
Hey guys. I got home from the hospital some hours ago and all I managed to do was go and get a sandwich and ever since that I've been chilling in bed with lots of snacks, Insta and my Mac... Today was really exciting as well. Neurosurgery really is incredibly fascinating! I'd really like to tell you loads about it but obviously I can't... This pic is from the other day when my boyfriend and I had coffee and cakes at Starbucks. They fortunately still have my fave coffee: the toffee nut latte. So I'm leading the toffee nut latte life here in Oxford (trying not to have one every day though haha). But well well, my healthy life doesn't really start until I start school back home in Copenhagen. I'm really excited about buying lots of Kartell furniture and a new pink Smeg fridge.

oxford magic

IMG_4569IMG_4581
I really love coming back to this in the evenings. It's so beautiful! I think I really appreciate things that most Brits don't when I'm here (probably because I've never gotten used to it). I really enjoy taking the red double decker busses home when I finish at the hospital. And I also really adore all the rain. It hasn't been a good trip to England if it hasn't been raining...

prada & pink

image2image3Here are some pics from my trip to Bicester Village yesterday. I actually didn't really find anything except for a black cable knit sweater from Ralph Lauren... I wanted a white Burberry shirt too but it was supposed to be slim fit but it was baggy in the back (and I tried XS!?) so I obviously didn't get that. Today we haven't been up to that much... We slept in, got breakfast toasts at Taylor's and then we took a walk in Christchurch Meadows, I went shopping and now I just had Pret A Manger tomato soup (Café Nero was all sold out sadly because I really like their ciabatta bread) and now I'm blogging a bit before I'll watch a Danish series called "Arvingerne" (it's really good and hippie-ish). And then I'll go to bed early. I'm looking forward to going to the hospital tomorrow morning!
