sephora siam center

The Sephora in Siam Center is great. I love that they apply makeup on you when you buy something. I bought my Naked 2 here. The makeup doesn't really show well in the picture, though. Anyway, I look so much forward to exploring this Sephora when my sweet little sister arrives on saturday!

I bought Naked 2 yesterday! The colours look super nice and I really look forward to playing with the colours. Right now, I'm going to the pool, so it seems quite unnecessary to wear eyeshadow. I've also been looking at lots of tutorials for more advanced eyeshadow than I normally do. Do you have any tips or ideas?

white wine sangrias & red sky

My boyfriend and I went to Red Sky to enjoy the sunset and their happy hour. Unfortunately it was cloudy and we had to order two drinks per person, which I found ridiculous. Anyway, the white wine Sangrias were nice and the view was fab as always. Sometimes it's nice to see Bangkok from above in daylight. I just bought new heels that I'm wearing. Nothing particularly fancy because I want to be able to wear them to parties. Have a lovely friday!

voss water & indiana ice

My workday today was super short, so afterwards I went home and had lunch. Then I spent the rest of the sunny afternoon tanning and studying by the pool. So, now I'm waiting for dinner and later we'll work out and watch Breaking Bad. At the moment, I'm really into drinking water blended with something else in a Voss bottle. So far I've had mineral water with the following flavours (and I liked them all): 1. Lemon and chili. 2. Lemon, orange, lime and chili. 3. Jasmine tea, passionfruit and lemon. Looking forward to the weekend!

urban decay naked

I'm considering to buy one of the famous Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palettes. I'm just not sure which one... The one below is Naked, the one in the middle is Naked 3 and the one above them, is Naked 2. Right now, I'm mostly thinking about the top two. I also really want to get a couple more brushes from YSL. They are the best!

nail necessities

I got these nail and hand products a while ago because I unfortunately have very soft nails that easily break. Now, after some quite intensive therapy with these three products and lots of filing, my nails are actually a lot better. I really recommend these three products; the cuticle oil and the Intensive Therapy II nail polish from Nail Tek and the hand cream from L'Occitane. I usually apply the oil every day, the nail polish whenever I need it and same for the hand cream.

chocolate cake & coconut flakes

Today I baked this chocolate cake with coconut flakes. It's definitely one of my favourite cakes ever! Today I went to my dance class and cooked dinner.

pizza by the pool

We had pizza by the pool today. I've not really been doing that much... Studying, watched a movie and tanned. Tomorrow I will bake a cake for my Dad, he returns from a trip and study some more! bumrungrad & the iron fairies

Today, after studying and a leg workout, I went to Bumrungrad International Hospital and got a vaccine for Japanese Encephalitis. It is a mosquito-born virus and your odds aren't good if you are infected. So, since I'm planning to travel outside of Bangkok and the mosquitoes adore my blood, I thought I'd better get it... Anyway, it's quite funny going to a private hospital where the doctor tries to sell you all available vaccines that you really have no need for. In the evening we went to Red Sky, but when we were on our way, it started raining... So we went to The Iron Fairies instead and the theme was super cool. My boyfriend had a Long Island Ice Tea and I had a Naughty Girl Bellini.

chanel les 4 ombres limited edition

Love at first sight. Crushing over this green and silvery Chanel eyeshadow. I don't know if it is the "Murder on the Dance Floor"music video by Sophie Ellis Bextor that I adored when I was little or simply me getting tired of my usual grey or brownish eyeshadow. Even though I'm an YSL person, I actually consider getting this one for myself. What do you think? I think this would also look fab on my little sister because she has green eyes. This palette is number 232 Tissé Vénetien.

yoo moo froyo

I'm eating lots of frozen yogurt at the moment. My favourite places are both in Siam Paragon: Yoo Moo and Buddhi Belly. I almost always choose a slightly sour taste in the yogurt and passionfruit and berries on top.

spring dresses from chloé

Crisp details from the Chloé RTW spring show. The lace of the white dress is very unusual. It's probably not the kind of lace I would normally go for but the dress as a whole is very cute. Unfortunately, I'm not really in my seafoam period anymore, otherwise this dress would have been a crush. It still is though - especially the cut!

blue crabs & grocery shopping

I really love to go grocery shopping here in Bangkok. My favourite store is Gourmet Market, they have so much fresh food. I am particularly fond of their fish - they have so many kinds and it's so fresh! Here's a picture of a crab. Today I made scones for breakfast and me and my boyfriend prepared homemade fish fingers and potato mash for dinner. Work tomorrow!

I really want to go on a holiday right now. I want to swim in the ocean, have a long bath with a view and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

My breakfasts usually consist of this freshly cut fruits. Here I had nectarine, passionfruit and pomelo. I definitely get my five a day out here in Bangkok.

maggie choo's

This evening we went to a bar called Maggie Choo's. It's a chinese inspired blues bar - I know it sounds weird and it is. We had lovely drinks (I particularly liked the candy floss detail) and I decided that if I ever own a nightclub there should be complimentary french fries, popcorn and candy floss with every drink. I would definitely go there.

I just got home from work and soon we're having dinner. Then we're going to the gym and afterwards I have to work on my application. I've been reading a lot of articles lately, I actually have to buy some kind of folder to organize them... Luckily, I have my beloved Faber-Castell pink neon marker.

ku dé ta & moon bar

Last night we went to Ku Dé Ta. I thought it was about time I visited their restaurant in Bangkok now that I've been to the ones in Singapore and Bali and really liked them. The dinner was delicious; I had tiger prawns and a dessert that looked like a cappuccino. Really, it was like a hybrid between fruitless trifle and tiramisu. After that, we went to Moon Bar to just have a cocktail. I had Blood & Sand and my boyfriend had a Long Island Ice Tea. It was a lovely evening.
