belated birthday brunch

My bestie and I celebrated my Birthday (a little belated) at Château Forêt in Helsingborg. The brunch was super delicious and we had such a cozy time. Now it's back to studying! My last exam (this term) is coming up!

champagne saturday

I'm home and we're enjoying some Palmer & Co. Champagne, which is so delicious and light. What are you up to? I've been studying all day and I'm going to study every day until my exam on Thursday and then I'll celebrate "Midsummer", which is a Swedish tradition before packing and heading to tropical and humid Bangkok.

post exam pick-me-up

My study buddy and I went to Magnum Pleasure Pop-up Shop in Norr today after our exam to get a little pick-me-up. Now I'm heading back home for some prep and dinner. The Magnums were so good - I had mine with white chocolate, dark chocolate sprinkle, candied blueberries, pistachio and raspberry. So yummy and it only cost like 20 DKK, which was surprisingly cheap.

gorm's pizza

Pizza from last night. I drove down to Ordrup to pick it up and I really loved my pizza, which was called "Denny Special". I love pizza bianca and especially when it's as good as this one. I can definitely recommend it - plus they have 20% off their pizzas when you order through their app.

airport outfit

I went to pick up my boyfriend from the airport earlier this evening. Wearing a cute little set from Norr and some other fave stuff - check the outfit list for details. Before picking him up, I popped by Agent Provocateur to spoil myself a bit now that I'm (luckily for my wallet but not my shopping gene) missing out on all the other sales because I have to study... Well, I hope you're having a fab night too! I'm so happy my boyfriend's back home again!

I dropped of my gorgeous black bike for reparations in Lyngby today and got some pretty white peonies. I'm studying for my two last exams... What are you up to? I can't wait until I'm going to Bangkok with my girls and later my boy. It's going to be so much fun (and freedom)!

I went to school this morning, then home and right back to studying. After a while, my sister and I decided on going to Jægersborg Allé and Strandvejen. We went to Strøms sale but we didn't really find anything tempting apart from the usual Calvin Klein underwear and Commes des Garcon shirts... I got a powder blue top in Rosemunde, though. Anyway, the look of the day was all black, gold and silver but it was actually way too cold to wear shorts. See outfit details below.

corona dreams

I went to work from 07:00-15:00 today and then I went back home, relaxed and studied. My sister and I are staying in Copenhagen this week until my exam on Friday. Just two more to go before I'm free for the summer! I was just looking through some old drafts and found this one. I really love the Corona chairs but they are pretty ugly from behind. I'm kind of obsessed with the red one.

klostergatans wine & delicacies

My Mum and I had dinner at Klostergatans Vin & Delikatess in Lund, which was super cozy and absolutely and utterly amazing. First of all, we had dinner outside in the warm early summer weather and sunset. I had a lobster salad and a glass of Palmer & Co. Champagne. My Mum had some antipasti and a Ginger Beer and we shared some French fries (they are the best fries I have ever had and I am quite a French Fries Fanatic"). Unfortunately, my little sister has graduated from her school in Lund and I am regretting not having gone to Lund more often. But I'm definitely going back there for the food as soon as possible again. It looks pretty lovely, right?

Hey pretty people! This Friday, I went to a childhood friends' graduation party (I completely forgot to photograph my outfit, which really is too bad since it was pretty nice in my opinion), which was fun and this weekend I'm mainly going to study in Copenhagen and work a little bit. I seriously have to conduct a little photo shoot soon - I've still got to show you my "congrats with your new job" Dior gift to myself and my birthday present from my boyfriend.

I'm multitasking in school at the moment; solving Genetics questions and blogging. Tonight I'm going to work and I only have two shifts left and then I'm done for the summer! I really can't wait until Sunday afternoon when I'm officially done! And then I'm going straight into studying mode... Luckily I'm going to a party tomorrow night, so hopefully you'll get some good outfit pictures anyway. These pics are from my sister's graduation dinner. We had lovely pre-dinner cocktails in the outdoor lounge at Bantorget 9 and I bet I wrote about them before, but here they are. They were rhubarb/champagne and rhubarb/gin cocktails and it's the first time I actually ever enjoyed a gin cocktail. I'm wearing a new dress and my beloved new So Real sunnies from Dior.

holy smoke & cute but psycho

Here are some pictures from last week when we drove out in the Swedish countryside and had lunch at the little Western gem "Holy Smoke". They serve barbecued ribs and meat in a sort of raw and primitive way but it really is super scrumptious! I'm wearing my new "Cute but Psycho" tee that I got from my sister who got it for me in Paris for my Birthday. I've been regretting not getting it about two years ago when I saw it in Brandy Melville in Stockholm. We woke up rather late today and had breakfast. Our plans right now are basically just getting dressed, going to Ari and checking out the neighbourhood (which is supposed to be Bangkoks hipster mecca with lots of nice little cafés and restaurants), having dinner (probably at Bangkok Burger Company in Siam Paragon - we're all pretty much in burger mode) and then we'll probably have a cocktail at Red Sky. good morning sunshine

It's lovely waking up to some sunshine and way easier to get out of bed. Right now, I'm waiting for my lesson to start and updating my blog a little bit. Afterwards, I'll go home and study and I'm going to work this afternoon and evening. This picture is from Elbgold in Hamburg. Good times.

Mood right now: dressing up and hanging out with my boyfriend, early cool mornings on a Copenhagen balcony with breakfast berries, flowers, coffee and croissants, vacay with endless freedom and nothing to do, oily tan skin, a lush robe and fresh fragile peonies. They are everywhere right now and they are so gorgeous. I hope you're having a great Monday, my Monday was actually surprisingly good. After this week, I'll be done working so I can focus completely on studying. Even though I constantly get snaps from people at the beach, in the park etc. I quite enjoy studying in this weather - it's more difficult than during the winter but it's quite cozy to lie in the garden, work on my tan and study at the same time.

Yesterday was my little sister's graduation party, which was lots of fun but rather stressful. We had 60 guests at our house, so I barely had the chance to talk to everyone. I spoke to some old friends that I've kind of lost contact with though, so that was fun. I woke up rather early today even though I'm pretty sleepy and had brunch. Then I helped out cleaning the house and garden after yesterday's festivities and right now I'm tanning by the pool and studying some Health Psychology, which basically what I'll do the rest of the day.

graduation party prep

Today it's my little sisters graduation party and things are pretty hectic at home. We've been decorating all morning and noon and I was in charge of balloons and flowers and soon we're going to go get the food (there were lots more than in this little tent - we had 4 different tents plus decorations indoor). We're having 60 guests tonight so we've ordered catering from K Gränd. I can't wait until the guests have arrived and things will cool down so I can relax with a glass of Palmer Champagne and enjoy the evening...

bantorget 9

Here are the pictures from our dinner at Bantorget 9 yesterday. We had four courses and a little appetizer, which was little shrimps and a green fennel cream. Then we had lumpfish roe, potatoes and fried onions and that was probably my favourite course. I love lumpfish roe. Then we had bass tartare with lemon emulsion, lard and nettles. Our main course consisted of barbecued pig and a sauce of buckthorn and the dessert was ice cream, rhubarb, nitrogen frozen rose hip and baked white chocolate. The dessert and the roe were my absolute favourites. Bantorget 9 is a really cozy place too, we were seated on the 2nd level where we pretty much had it all to ourselves.

Pics from my little sister's graduation day! We all headed to Lund to celebrate her outside of her school, check her in at Grand Hotel and then we went for pre dinner cocktails at Bantorget 9, which is a super cozy place where we also had dinner (more about that later). I'm wearing my beloved Dior So Real sunglasses, a beige lace dress that I got last autumn in Copenhagen Luxe at Strandvejen, new birthday gift sandals from Naf Naf (it's pretty much impossible to wear heels in Lund as there are cobblestones everywhere) and of course YSL makeup. It's really summer-y in Scandinavia already!

ysl fusion ink cushion foundation

I got this gorgeous foundation today! I've been looking so much forward to receiving it because it's not even available yet - only in Asia. My Father got home today and he brought me this (plus my fave Tarte mascara but I've probably taken pictures of that before). Before, I was using the regular YSL ink foundation, which is basically my holy grail foundation. It has buildable coverage - I'd say medium with one layer and it's matte. I'm not a fan of the "dewy look" because it really makes you look sweaty in all flash images. This reinvention of the fusion ink foundation in a little cushion box (which is also fabulous) is super practical as I can refresh without getting my hands dirty (and my face). It's still the same foundation but in prettier and more practical packaging. I highly recommend it and I'm definitely getting more of these babies when I'm hitting Bangkok this summer. It's launching in Europe stores in September (and I couldn't possibly wait for that to happen). Can't wait to hit the YSL beauty flagship store in EmQuartier!
