ysl powder
I restocked my beloved Yves Saint Laurent "Matt and Radiant Pressed Powder" in No. 4 "Pink Beige" for summer. I also considered buying a foundation but I think I'll wait until winter - I prefer not to wear foundation during the summer because I prefer to tan my face a little bit and it easily "melts off" if it's too hot or moist outside. Powder is a lot better! But I recently got some testers of two YSL foundations so I might do reviews on them both next week. Right now, I'm off for a power walk with a friend. It's going to be a busy weekend so I'll keep you posted!

pukka castor oil
I finally bought a castor oil from Pukka and I intend to start using it sometime next week for my eyelashes. Castor oil has been quite hyped recently because it nourishes the eyelashes and it might cause the eyelashes to grow as well. I'm not sure I believe it but I figured that I'd give it a try! I'll let you know how it all works out!

upgrade & cocktails
Here's the food we had last saturday at Sticks'N'Sushi at the Tivoli Hotel. We got a complete menu called "Upgrade" with Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls, lots of delicious sushi (the tempura shrimp and crab maki were just so scrumptious!), sashimi, sticks and veggies. We also had a cocktail each. I had one that I unfortunately do not recall the name of, but it tasted like raspberry with an aftertaste of liquorice and a Skipper's Pipe. My boyfriend had a passionfruit mojito. It was all super delicious and I highly recommend Sticks'N'Sushi if you're ever in Copenhagen and in the mood for sushi.
P.S. For a date, the one on the top of Tivoli Hotel is definitely the best place of all the Sticks'N'Sushis in Copenhagen.

pink yves saint laurent sweets
Two springy makeup sweets I got this weekend! I'm so excited to use them both! I've been so in love with the Ombre Solo eyeshadow in "No. 12 Parisienne Pink" and last friday I saw it and I had to get it - especially when I noticed the super cute mini brushes inside the pretty case. And yesterday, my sweet boyfriend bought me this gorgeous Volupté Tint-In-Oil lipgloss that I've been wanting since YSL launched it. I tried it on this morning and when I applied it, it looked completely transparent but after a couple of minutes it really enhanced the pink in my natural lip colour and my lips were a super pretty pink colour (even after the gloss disappeared and it moisturised a lot). I think I'll definitely get more of these when I get the chance!

red lips & black playsuit
Today I went on a lovely surprise trip with my boyfriend. First, we went shopping in Copenhagen and then we went for some scrumptious sushi at Sticks'N'Sushi at the top of the Tivoli Hotel. Afterwards, we took a walk to Amalienborg and had sugar churros in Nyhavn. The weather was great and it was a fabulous surprise. I love being spoiled like that... Thanks darling! I'm wearing my new black bow playsuit from Terminal 21, boots from Gallucci (I brought stilettos for the dinner) and makeup from Yves Saint Laurent.
P.S. The selfie was not representative of my mood...

dirty brunch at the laundromat café
We met my family in Copenhagen to have brunch at The Laundromat Café. I wore a black outfit: pleated mini skirt, knee socks, black top, sixties-ish eyeliner and slightly punk jewellery. I had the "Dirty Brunch" and a Caramel Latte Frappé and it was all super delicious and quite dirty. I particularly liked the American pancakes with chocolate butter, the Greek yoghurt with muesli and the scambled eggs. I was incredibly full when we left so it's definitely not the place you'd have brunch every day, but I want to go back and try out the burgers (they looked so good)! In the picture below there are all the drinks we had: my Caramel Latte Frappé, mint and mango juices, strawberry milkshake, raspberry and banana smoothie and carrot juice. After this, we went to the cinema and watched "Far from the Madding Crowd", which was very good and then we went home and had dinner with friends. Fab first of May to all of you!

reading & watching
Today has been such a cozy day! I tanned most of the day, went to work for a little while and read a book (The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano) that is very exciting from a psychiatric perspective. I just got home from the cinema where we watched "Human Capital" and I highly recommend it! I've been wearing my new knitted shirt from Terminal 21.

breakfast & car selfies
Last saturday I went to a café and had breakfast with my BFF. I had a tuna mousse sandwich, greek yoghurt with muesli, orange juice and a latte macchiato and it was all very good. My boyfriend drove me there in the morning and I'm wearing my new Mac lipliner Whirl and lipstick Velvet Teddy in these selfies. Today I'm relaxing and fixing some stuff at home and later I'll go for a long walk and work a little bit.
Outfit:
Beanie: The Kooples.
Fur Coat: Faux London.

faux fur from london
Here's my newest fluffy fur! It's a black faux mink fur from Faux London and I adore it! Today I also wore my new MAC lipstick and lipliner; Velvet Teddy and Whirl. I've had a lovely day; breakfast with my best friend, a long walk and taking pics, more Banoffee Pie and now I'll take a shower, have dinner and go to my boyfriends' place.

banoffee pie
Today we celebrated my boyfriends' birthday a little bit in advance. We baked a Banoffee Pie and it was actually very good but quite satiating. It was very easy to make; melted brown sugar, butter and condensed milk, a base of sugar and Digestives and chocolate sauce, bananas and whipped cream on top. I hope you had a lovely Friday! Good night!

yves saint laurent volupté tint-in-oil
One of these new Volupté Tint-In-Oils from YSL is definitely my next buy when I'm in Copenhagen! I looked for them in Bangkok but they were completely sold out everywhere... I think I'll probably try to get one or two of the first three from the left. I'd like one that is almost transparent like 4 I Rose You or 3 Undress Me so I can wear it over bright pink, red and orange lipsticks. And I'd also like to get the third one (5 Cherry My Cherie) and wear it without any lipstick. But we'll see, I'm looking for a new concealer and foundation as well...

inspiration # 42
Early spring feelings... I miss summer so much: pretty flowers, big fluffy pastel fur coats (faux), vacations, warm weather and this lipstick style that looks kind of weird but still very pretty and sort of fragile. I'd like to try it out but I might be too tan for these white/pink shades at the moment...
