There are lots of malls in Bangkok, many of them very different from each other. I really liked "Terminal 21" because it was a two minute walking distance from our hotel and there was lots of Asian shops. I am not fond of going into the very international stores (that I can go to at home) when I'm on vacation because it feels like a complete waste of time. I like the more alternative stores and "Terminal 21" had lots to offer.
