studying essentials

These
days, I can be found in front on my Mac and my biology book... I have
two exams in January that I'm studying for. Some of my studying
essentials are shown above; my Moleskine calendar, Burberry watch, Lamy
fountain pen, MAC lipstick, Mac and pencil case. I also recently got a
new scented candle called "Himalayan Musk", it smells so good! There are
also some Oroes in the picture - it doesn't have to be Oreos, but I
usually snack a little bit and drink some tea to make the
studying cozier. I'm leaving for dinner at my friend's house soon, which
will be a nice break from the books.Tuesday, December 29, 2015
black silk & wool shorts
After
studying most of the morning, I went shopping in town because there is a
post Christmas sale and I had a gift certificate that I needed to use.
It's nice to get gift certificates, of course, but they stress me a
little bit too, because I want to use them before they're not valid
anymore. Anyway, I finally found something; a scented candle (that I'll
show you tomorrow) and a pair of black silk and wool shorts from Calida.
I think they're supposed to be nightwear but I think I'l use them as hotpants
or underneath black dresses when it gets hotter outside. We're having
dinner soon and then it's back to studying. I really miss having a tan!Monday, December 28, 2015
balmain hair couture

 More
Christmas presents! Among some other gorgeous gifts, I got this
wonderful hair perfume by Balmain from my sweet little sister. I've
already used it a couple of times and it smells delightful and makes my
hair shine and not tangle as much as it usually does... I love that it's
called "hair couture" too - very fancy. I'm not feeling particularly
fancy at the moment. I got a headache last night and I've been feeling
pretty bad most of last night and today... I'm feeling better now after
spending all the day eating and watching TV series. I think I'm going to
take a bath or a shower, go to bed and then I'm going to study most of
tomorrow.Sunday, December 27, 2015
ice skating
I
went ice skating with my boyfriend and some friends today, which was
lots of fun. It was such a long time ago! Well, last year I went ice
skating in Bangkok but I was wearing a skirt and my legs were bare... So
I didn't really want to go too fast. Today went a lot better though!

anni lu star jewellery

I
got some gorgeous jewellery from Anni Lu for Christmas. I got the red
bracelet with a star and a tassel and a small Tiger Eye pearl, which is
perfect since that is the stone of May, which is my month. I'm planning
on wearing it with my Balenciaga bracelet and other red and golden ones.
I also got little star earrings, they are going to be my everyday
earrings. They are so cute and subtle.Thursday, December 24, 2015
christmas pants

Merry
Christmas! Here's my Christmas outfit this year. It's not exactly
glamorous but it's very comfy and I think it's pretty cute. Perfect for
the day's Christmas prep! A big plus is that I can eat as much as I want
and dance around too without feeling uncomfortable... My Grandparents
are coming in the afternoon and then we are celebrating Christmas! We
usually have dinner and dessert first, then we dance around the tree and
finally we open our presents! I'm so excited for tonight! I hope you
all have a wonderful evening!Wednesday, December 23, 2015
christmas tree

The
Christmas tree is up and ready! Our Christmas tree is always
multicoloured and sort of Disney styled. I can't wait to dance around
the tree tomorrow, are you still keeping that tradition? Most of my
friends don't do it anymore and I think it's a huge part of Christmas
night. Other than decorating the tree, I've been busy all day with
preparations, gift wrapping and stuff like that...Tuesday, December 22, 2015
cupcakes & winter salad

I've been in Copenhagen all day today.
First I went shopping with my BFF and we also had lunch at The Union
Kitchen, which was very good. I ordered a salad, which is always a
gamble unless you know that the restaurant is generous with the good
stuff in the salad (not the salad itself...), but it was actually very
good. Then I met my Mum and sister for cupcakes and tea, some final
shopping and then we went to our relatives to have dinner and exchange
Christmas gifts. It has been a busy day!Monday, December 21, 2015
yayoi kusama's yellow room

And
the yellow pics from the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at Louisiana. Still
cool, still crazy... Today we're prepping for Christmas at my house.
We're decorating the Christmas tree, which I'm very excited about and I
still have some gifts to wrap and cards to write.

Dress: Alexander McQueen.
Watch: Burberry.
Bracelet: Balenciaga.

yayoi kusama at louisiana

We
just returned from Louisiana where we had late lunch and watched the
Yayoi Kusama exhibition. It was really cool and psychedelic art -
particularly the dot themed rooms. I really liked the pumpkins too, they
were kind of cute. Some of the stuff was a bit scary, actually. I'm
wearing my never before used Alexander McQueen dress. I discovered that
the only dotted clothes I have is a blue jumpsuit with white dots and a
black and white dotted PJ... But I think that the dress matched the
colours of the exhibition quite well.Saturday, December 19, 2015
mulled wine time
As
some of you might've seen on my Instagram (emmaanemone), I had a small
mulled wine get together today. Six friends from Rays (the summer
research camp that I went on a couple of years ago) that I still stay in
touch with, came for some mulled wine and a game where you sort of
snatch presents. We had all sorts of Danish and Swedish Christmas
specials such as: lussekatter, Ʀbleskiver with sugar and raspberry
marmalade, pebernødder, klejner, vaniljekranse, knäck, julmust and
mulled wine, of course.Friday, December 18, 2015
burberry regent street

Good
morning guys! Today I'm heading to Elsinore to do some grocery shopping
for a mulled wine get together that I'm hosting tomorrow. Here's a
throw back to last week when I went to Burberry on Regent Street to buy
my beloved red cashmere scarf. I'll have to do a post about it later but
I haven't actually worn it yet. While they wrapped it up and I paid for
it, we had a glass of champagne each. Loving the Burberry life!Thursday, December 17, 2015
pret a manger & le pain quotidien

Just
a couple of pictures from my absolute favourite places to eat in
London. Le Pain Quotidien is a bit more comfortable and homely, so it's a
place where you can sit, eat and relax. They have great sandwiches and
even lovelier bowls of coffee and cakes. We had a brownie and a pavlova
and they were both delicious. Pret A Manger is lovely too, it's faster
so it's quite practical for busy (shopping) days in London. They serve
natural and healthy food with no additives. I'm particularly a fan of
their baguettes, their tuna melt toast and the crayfish and avocado
salad. They also have bags of popcorn and smaller treats like that,
which is always a win. Now I'm having lunch and then I'm heading for a
latte macchiato and chats with my BFF.Wednesday, December 16, 2015
december shopping in london
And
some of the fancier shopping from London... I bought something from
Burberry - can you guess what it is? I wrote about it earlier this year
and the packaging is pretty revealing... And I got stuff from Victoria's
Secret, of course. This time I actually controlled myself and didn't
get every PJ I could get my hands on. And I also got the clutch from
Zadig & Voltaire. I left out a lot from this picture because of the
season, you know...Tuesday, December 15, 2015

pink & lush life

New stuff from Lush! I got a magic wand bubble bar that makes my whole room smell like candy.
I also got a really good dry shampoo that smells super fresh of grape
and lime, it's called "No Drought". I wasn't that fond of the REF dry
shampoos I had before... I used them up almost immediately and I really
don't use that much. Looks like this one from Lush will last a while...
Anyway, I also got two dusting powders; silky underwear (jasmine scent)
and fairy dust (shimmer and candy floss scent) that I've already used a
couple of times. They are quite cool. I think I'll dust my bed with them
soon too.Sunday, December 13, 2015
red dress

Here
are some better pictures of the red dress I wore in a previous post.
It's from American Apparel and I'm quiet fond of it. One red dress is a
must for blondes. Matching it with fishnet stockings, red lipstick and
red nail polish from Yves Saint Laurent.
Outfit:
Jacket: The Kooples.
Dress: American Apparel.
Tights: H&M.
Boots: Notabene.

christmas feeling in oxford

Just
some gorgeous Christmas pics from Oxford. I quite miss the Christmas
feeling in England even though there are lots of decorations and stuff
here in Scandinavia too, plus, it's a lot colder! I'm going to a
Christmas Lunch/Party with the people from my class at University
tonight, so that'll be fun.

Some of the reds from the exhibition... I particularly fancied the red balloon room with white dots. So spooky.

The
last pictures from Oxford are ironically, some of the first we took. We
went to the Radcliffe Camera where we had the chance to go all the way
up and enjoy the view over Oxford. It was very pretty, as you can see.
