grand hotel breakfast

Well, this was a Grand Hotel Breakfast - literally. We woke up and went down for breakfast. We had all this delicious food plus a waffle... I'm so full! We're back in the wonderful room right now and I'm pretty much done packing. Soon I'm heading back to Copenhagen for school and work. I'm working the next couple of days but then there's my sister's graduation party and dinner, which I'm really excited about! Can't wait until the weekend!

grand hotel lund & prom prepping

Just checked in at Grand Hotel in Lund where I'm going to stay with my little sister. It's her prom tonight and I just couldn't miss out on a little everyday luxury. Soon off to take pictures of her and her friends and then I'll have dinner somewhere with my Mum. Right now we're fixing some minor details regarding my sister's look and we're also having some celebratory champagne!

alabama social & sunday

I just woke up because I got a text from work and I'm going to work later this afternoon. Here's a picture from last Friday when I had lunch at Alabama Social with two girlfriends from the University. It was the first time I tried Alabama Social and their menu was sort of destined for me because I would've liked almost all dishes. Anyway, I finally chose the shrimp sandwich, French fries, Pellegrino and a glass of champagne. I've got to get dressed now and then I'll probably go for a morning walk before it gets too hot outside.

hamburger day at garage

It's the international Hamburger Day today and we had actually accidentally planned to have dinner at Garage in Höganäs where a California Cheeseburger is most definitely a must! We also had milkshakes and fries. Everything was as delicious as usual. Garage is my absolute favourite burger place. We've been out and about all day but more about all that later. I'm also wearing my new tee from Brandy Melville, that I got from my sister yesterday. I didn't get it while I had the chance almost two years ago and I've regretted it ever since, so I'm really happy that it's finally mine! I'm probably wearing all the red accessories I own in these pictures plus a new necklace that I already adore. It's golden, shaped like a crescent moon and from Prag.

birhtday presents & palmer champagne

We started off our birthday weekend with some Palmer & Co. champagne and gift unwrapping. I got so many gorgeous things! Thank you! I'll show them to you later. Today I unpacked lots of different stuff, cleaned my room and relaxed a little bit. It feels like months since I last actually relaxed ! So I think I really deserved it. Tomorrow we're going on a small trip to have some delicious food and on Sunday I'll probably go to work.

birthday dinner in rungsted harbour

My sweet Grandparents took me out for dinner on my birthday today. We had dinner at the restaurant No. 22 in Rungsted Harbour and the food was lovely. We had moules as a shared starter, then I had plaice and we finished off with a soft ice. It was really good and cozy and the weather was really nice too, luckily!

Happy Birthday Sweet Little Sister! I'm so sorry I can't be with you on your birthday (I'm working). But I really look forward to our combined birthday weekend and I can't wait to give you your birthday presents! Love you and miss you!

inspiration # 60

I have so much to look forward to so that's what I'm day dreaming about these sort of tough and stressful days where I have tons of work to do. It'll be my sister's birthday tomorrow, my birthday the day after (it's weird that our birthdays are right next to each other even though she's two years younger than me - I know) and then there's her graduation celebrations. After that I have a couple of more exams and then I'm travelling to Bangkok with my sweet little sister and BFF, then my sister and I are going on a surprise trip with my Dad, then my boyfriend's coming to Bangkok and then I'll probably travel to Palma with my family. It's going to be busy but wonderful. I love the feeling of freedom that summer entails! I'll probably also try to squeeze in a little trip to Bornholm and Tisvildeleje.

soft ice in rungsted harbour

Mum and I stopped by Rungsted Harbour the other day after going wine shopping in Irma. This is probably the most Danish ice cream you can eat: soft ice with cacao topping and "guf" (which is like strawberry flavoured marshmallow fluff). I always have it in Tisvildeleje and on Bornholm every summer and for me, it's the epitome of Danish summer.

I don't think I ever showed you this outfit in colour. Here I am in front of Buckingham Palace during the golden hour. We were walking back from Regent Street to Victoria Station and passed by the palace, which looked quite amazing in this light.

blomsterbergs brunch

Before fetching my bike and watching "The Day Will Come", Mum and I had brunch at Blomsterbergs Café in Lyngby. It's so cozy catching up with my Mum since we're not really seeing each other every day anymore. I really love spending quality time with my family. The brunch was delicious and super fresh and filling. It really looks as amazing as it was!

velorbis

I got this black Velorbis bike a bit ahead of my birthday because I need it to bike for work! I am indescribably happy for it! It's lovely to ride and it is such a gorgeous retro bike. Thanks Mum, I already adore it and I can't wait until I can ride it around in Copenhagen! The basket is just so perfect with a large bouquet of freshly cut flowers in it. I'm also wearing my new Dior So Real sunglasses that I am still a bit afraid to use because I'm working so much and I really want to handle them with tremendous care...

k gränd catering meeting

I joined my Mum for lunch and a catering meeting at K Gränd today. That's where we're getting the food for my sister's graduation party in the beginning of next month, which is actually not too far off! And it's my birthday soon too! Time really is flying and I'm spending pretty much all of my time studying, working or sleeping...

black spring staples & anemones

Here are some pictures of me earlier this spring. We have this tradition that we take some pictures of my sister and I in the Anemones every year during spring. I wasn't quite sure that this actually counts as a salad? I mean, there's no salad inside but it is after all chopped asparagus, strawberries and watermelon. I'm back from England again, trying to charge myself with some vitamins before the everyday life really kicks in!

I'm a little sad having to leave England because I really am British at heart... But I have to get back to University again to study and work too, which will be quite exciting but also rather tough! It'll be my birthday (and my sister's) soon too and then my sister is graduating as well! This is probably my most busy spring ever!

so real situation

Om my Gosh, I am super psyched about my new in from Dior! I've been wanting these for a really long time and the blog title really is a hint... Can you guess it? We went to the, in my opinion, real Dior boutique but it was closed due to reconstruction. Then we went to the second Dior boutique in Conduit Street and ended up visiting the accessory boutique in Selfridges. I can't wait to lay these little babies with some of my other new accessories and take some gorgeous stills!

liberty love

Today's selecetion - I wish! I am so in love with Liberty's flower shop in the entrance. They have such a beautiful selection of flowers and if I lived in London, I probably couldn't help but get some of these flowers. Fresh flowers really are a luxury and such a decorative touch for any home.

lobster & london shopping

Here I was, full from all the lobster and fries and with pretty much all of my shopping bags from London. I was planning on getting a pair of Creepers too but then I figured that they're not that springy. This is shot just outside of Thomas's Café in Burberry on Regent Street before we walked down to Victoria Station to get back to Oxford.

Luckily I had so many pictures from England. I'm aware that you've seen this outfit quite a lot of times but it was either that or nothing and I think the pictures are still quite varied and pretty. Maybe I should pack a spare outfit for next time that we're just chilling around in Oxford to spice things up a bit. Anyway, before my exam basically did nothing but studied so I didn't have the chance to take that many good blog photos... Fortunately, my little London trip provided me with that! I was lucky with the weather too, it was really beautiful and I don't think it rained even once and that's pretty unusual when visiting England.

bicester shopping

And that's a wrap! After spending the whole afternoon in the little shops in Bicester Village we're heading back to Oxford to get some dinner. I am super excited about the shopping! I got so many great things that I've been waiting to buy for a while.

pink spring nuances

I really like the pink nuances in this picture. The pants are from Terminal 21, the faux fur from Ilse Jacobsen, the nail laquer from Yves Saint Laurent and the soda is a raspberry lemonade from Belvoir. It's really fresh and summery.

punting date

On my last day in Oxford, my boyfriend took me punting, which was super cozy! We got sandwiches from Taylor's and Belvoir sodas and then he punted me up and down the river. I also tried to punt but I lasted about 30 seconds because the metal pole was really heavy! Anyway, I also think I both looked and felt better sitting safely inside the boat without risking falling into the river and having to swim to shore as a wet dog with ruined suede boots... Perhaps not the most fitting outfit for a punting date but it went really well and was a splendid way to see some of Oxford's riverside and it was quite romantic too.

pretty pale palette

I really like this picture that I posted on Instagram. You are following me, right? Anyway, I bought so much stuff yesterday in London (and in Bicester) and I can't wait to show it to you! But it's more fun if I do it along the way in pictures where I actually wear it or at least have taken some aesthetic pics, right? I'll probably get a shopping craving every time I watch this picture in the future. The colours are so pale and pretty and I'm loving this palette for spring!
